Default Did I break wastegate or is it okay? (Video inside)

Sooo I was tightening the vacuum line on the wastegate while installed and the "top part" of the wastegate started spinning on the base of the wastegate.. Is this okay or did I break it?

I don't believe it is supposed to do that. Check the valve to see if is still seated.

i think that there's a nut inside that's supposed to prevent that. i would take the top off and take a look

Yeah. Take off the top and tighten the nut under the diaphragm
