Double-L

I pulled the 5.3 out of my 04 SSR after I broke a piston and got a LS6 block and built that back in 06 or 07, The 5.3 had a 112 Maggie 12 pounds of boost, Supermaxx headers and hi flow cats, Flowmaster cat back with 40 and so on and mild built 4L60 with Vigalante 2800 3 disk lockup, Made all most 500 rwhp and 508 rwt with 93 and alky spray but the SSR was 5200 lbs with gas and me, It run good for what it was 13.20's and 30's, 13.0 on a good track, The best of 12.74 We built a LS6 with a stroker and dart 225 heads and 1.6 shaft mount rocker, JE 9.0 blower pistons and so on and I know most say go with 10 to 1, I am old school but we have run it hard for all the years and never had a problem, Changed to a 122 Maggie 10 ponds of boost, We tried 15 but made to much heat and to much torgue, Put everything you could get in the now 4L65 and put a moser rear end with a 9 inch center but now I think is the time to put the 5.3 back in, I can only run 11.49 without a roll bar or suppose to but I want to put some good parts in the 5.3, It will spend most it's life on the street with a test and tune and some NMCA racing, I was thinking of a LS6 cam, Good pistons and rods, Some one on here told me about a better cam with a great drive-ability but lost his post, Wouldn't mind seeing the 5.3 go in the 11's in a 5200 pound truck LOL
