help with valve springs

help with valve springs i have a 234/232 598/595 115+1 cam. i put some EX616 listed here http://www.cmotorsports.com/98-02-fb...ine-valvetrain
they are rated for 620 lift. i broke one at about 2000miles(fixed it) and now at about 3000miles i am loosing rpm's fast. i used to be able to spin to 6500rpm easy, then it started floating so i put the shift points down. the floating point keeps droping and i am all the way down to 5500rpm shift point.
are these just crappy springs? they should last longer than 3000miles shouldnt they? what is the best spring i can buy that will fit the stock head, i dont want to have to change springs all the time. i am running about 14psi now if that matters.
