Check it out, makes less power down low than the current F-1A, but it makes waay more power up top. They are now available! Bob

Interesting. So say someone with a bigger cube motor wanted more top end, due to having plenty of mid range grunt with the bigger cubes, this would be ideal. Will it work with an Aster bracket?

Hi Bob, will this new F1A be suitable for a forged LS1 or stay with the old one?

If you have a 408 or smaller cubic inch engine, and four bolt per cylinder heads, then I would stay with the standard F-1A. A larger cubed engine, or one with six bolt per cylinder heads that can handle over 20 psi of boost, is where this new blower will come into play. Thanks. Bob

Why is this model not on their site yet?

I'm so confused about the new blowers.......what is an f1c 3.70? Also, I've seen some people referring to the f1x as "It's the newer 4.20 model". What does this stuff mean?

I think people, myself included, just want to know what the different numbers mean, like 91 vs. 94 and 3.57 vs. 3.70.

Following a trend that was set in place by the F-3R model family of race blowers, the new design F-1A and F-1C “race” model blowers are stamped with a millimeter designation, and will be listed this way in the new app guide/website supercharger specs. Bob

Ah, ok. Makes sense that they are starting to designate them like turbos with their sizes.

Bob have you seen any test data from the new f1a or f1c. How dose it make more power dose it just make more boost are the air intake temps better? Any back to back test to show it make 100hp or more power than the older blower?

One guy reportedly bolted on the new F1A in place of his old F1C and picked up way over 100 rwhp. That's correct, he made more power with the new F-1A compared to an older F-1C!

ProCharger has been doing a lot of testing with impellers, they have added a more aggressive backsweep on the exducer of the new impeller, which takes less power to turn it and allows the air to be directed off of the blade and get out of the volute. The inlet air temps should be cooler.
Modern technology is awesome! Bob
