Default Iron 5.7 turbo?

I recently bought a 5.3 long block for the turbo build I plan on starting soon for my ws6. My plan was to use the standard 5.3 bore but I know some blocks can be bored out to 3.9 bore. Has anyone done this with a turbo setup? I have checked all over Google and haven't found any results that really answer my question. Thank you

I really don't understand all of the fascination with everyone wanting to overbore their 5.3 block for a turbo setup.

More displacement to spool a big turbo faster than it would with the standard cubes and more power out of boost

Spool difference will be minor. More torque out of boost yes. But you're thinning out the super thick cylinder liners that make the 5.3 block so strong. Peak power potential won't improve much either.

Its a lot of machine work and money when you look at all of the 5.3s out there running 8s already. If this was an N/A motor I would recommend increasing the stroke, the same if it were a screw or roots blower. But turbo I wouldn't touch the bore....
