Default 5.3 turbo build

I recently picked up a 2001 5.3 and tranny out of a silverado. Im wanting to turbo it, with that being said Im on a very tight budget. Main reason I took this motor n tranny is because it was a steal. Im wanting to find a oem turbo I can use to boost around 15-20 psi if possible?¿?, I probably won't run that much psi but I d like to have it. With that being said I'd also like to kno what else I may need to do to put a turbo on a motor like this (cam?, injectors?, things of the sort). Id like to see 500 hp range. Thanks!

Cam, heads, intake and youll see 500hp.
But
Stock motor, change the rod bolts, add turbo and see 700+ hp
Plenty of how-tos and tech articles by the magazines to follow their build-ups on google

So all I would have to do is change the rod bolts? I've seen articles and what not of guys doing it but there's so many and some spend way more money than im looking into spending. I know they say horse power is money and all but Id like to use most of this build with oem parts that can be found in a junkyard or somewhere of the sort. Know of any links with someone trying to do the same? Thanks.

If you want only 500 hp leave everything alone and put a china turbo on there. Maybe valve springs but that's about it.

Yeah 500 flywheel will be easy. 100% stock motor with injectors and hptuners. $300 dollar Chinese turbo and 12 or so PSI will get you 500 flywheel without breaking a sweat.

What's your budget? An ls6 cam and a $400 On3 turbo will get the job done. Hell, 500 will be laughably easy. The tubo alone will get you your goal.
