Procharged car problem
have a blower on my trans am and been having a problem, when i get on it in first going 5 miles mph it moves but when i get to higher rpm it falls on its face. When i get on it in second from a pretty good role and slowly get in it it has no problem. Thanks guys

Well you can temporarily block it off for a partial run and see if the problem goes away. Probably shouldn't snap the throttle shut abruptly.
You got a boost gauge and/or a fuel gauge?
And what do you have for a fuel pump?

Disconnect the vacuum line to the bypass valve and drive it and get into boost. If it falls flat your bypass valve is probably bad. You can do this once or twice without hurting your car so don't worry about that. If you have boost then look somewhere else.

I'm pretty sure that they don't have any specific direction, but you could always reverse it so it faces the other way. Also removing the vacuum line makes it stay closed so that you get boost, but no release when you let off of the gas.

Having a forced induction car, turbo or blower, you really need to have diagnostic equipment/data logger to know what your car is doing. At first, it sounded like it is a tune issue, but if you have no way to know if your car is even making boost, it's tough to say.
It's hard to help, when even you don't know what's going on with your car, much less someone over the internet.

Fuel pressure at idle will normally be in the 58 to 60 psi range, and will typically drop down to around 54 psi at wide open throttle in the upper rpm range. 50 psi is low, and it could be your problem. The first thing I would do is replace the fuel filter. I agree with The Alchemist, you need gauges so you can tell what is functioning. Bob
