I have precisions new 64mm BOV and it's a big sum bitch. not to sure how loud it is. you could always install a duck call on your bov and it would be pretty loud.

That's the route I think I'm gonna take. Haven't got any reply back from turbo smart in ref to big bubba bov. I had the xs bov that came with the huron kit. Went with big bubba and the xs sounds a lot louder. Trying to see how to adjust it properly. There is hardly any sound. Also I can't hear the journal bearing the the turbo in boost anymore. Was installed by performance shop but they never dealt with big bubba just the race port.

The larger the valve the less noise there will be. Restriction is what makes the noise…. not a good thing in general. Grab 2 SSQ style valves. They are very restrictive and do a poor job of venting pressure, but they are obnoxiously loud!

"Will a Turbosmart Blow Off or Bypass Valve (BOV/BPV) damage my engine?

The simple answer is NO. Turbosmart BOVs and BPVs are designed to improve the performance of your turbocharger system."

From Turbosmart's website...guess that answers my question. I was worried about adjusting it wrong and I would mess up engine. Hopefully everything goes right when I adjust it. Not looking for obnoxious noise. Just was disappointed when the you really can not hear the bov and the xs bov was very loud compared to it.
