Default Steam Ports (tap to 1/8npt?)

I'm building a stock 5.3/gt45 turbo to go in my vette build in my sig. I want to go 4 port steam vs the stock 2 port with the back 2 closed off. Has anyone drilled and tapped heads for 1/8 npt and used 1/8npt to -4 fittings? it seems much cheaper than any other setup out there and looks easy enough to do. I have searched pretty hard and have not seen anyone doing it.

thanks in advanced

What intake are you using? You might be able to use a factory front steam setup from a l76 truck in the back.

stock truck for the moment but probably go holley or edelbrock high ram at some point. I can make a stock 4 steam port or 2 2port setups(shipped my 2 port to a guy in trade for a 4 port his never showed up) work but thought all braided line look better and not have any more into it than any other setup.

I drilled and tapped mine for 1/8 and used dot air line push lock, if I did it again I'd use a stock 4 corner setup. Cost too much and you don't see any of it once it's together.

i been doing this for years.
1/8npt to 3/8 barb. in stainless fittings.
all of my cars have these fittings. also use Ys to connect the lines.
these fittings can found on ebay. sold by beer/brewer supply vendors.
and there. cheap. a 4 pck ofthe fittings is only like 10-15$ w shipping. about as much as the brass versions. the stainless Ys are only a few bucks also. hose is just 3/8 coolant lines.

less than 30-40$. and the steam port has the benefit of being a larger bore.
if it helps any idk. i would think it may move more water away if anything.
but works just as good as the high dollar setups i think. and the barbed end and hose clamps. that hose isnt leaking or going anywhere.
