Default help me with choosing great heads for FI

this winter im finally building up my car. going with ERL for a 6 bolt turbo built short block. goals are over 1000 WHP on pump 93 1400+ on race fuel and fed by twin Comp oil less 78mm turbos. my choices are between Mast, All Pro and TrickFlows.... they all seem to have their own benefits and i dont want to buy based on name i want to buy what will work best. of course whichever manufacturer i choose will have to make 6 bolt heads compatible to the ERL block design and i would like a thick head deck for reassurance. then i will be looking into flow #s and i know they arent too important when going FI but for my build it does matter some.

I am going for 1400+ and went with Trickflow 255's worked over by LME. All Pros are awesome but couldn't swing it. I also went Dart LS Next 427. I would look into the Trickflow/Mast LS7 style aswell.

I'm using TEA TFS 255 heads (ls3 based but have a 12 degree valve angle like an ls7 head). I am also using a dart LS next block. ERL makes a great block I just liked some of the features the dart had but you also get the extra weight. I don't think you can go wrong either way. An aluminum LS next would be my choice if I was dead set on an aluminum block

I debated about the block for quiet awhile too but after talking with a few people I liked the design of the Dart LS Next better than the ERL. There are some added benefits to it and only drawback is the weight.

TFS also just released a 260cc ls7 version of it's gen x head. A set of those from TEA would be my choice for the money if I didn't already have my 255 ls3 gen x heads from them.

If I had unlimited funds some All Pro's or some of those heads from Frankenstein would be at the top of my list but honestly a good 6 bolt head and some boost is gonna make some serious power. Look at ls2formula's car for instance. 422ci motor with some TFS 245 cathedral port heads and cast wheel 7675 turbos and makes 1700+ through a glide

These newer designed heads should do that even easier

My heads and rockers were 4500 for the Trickflow 255 CNC'd thru LME and better springs installed with Crower shaft rockers.

What nobody remembers is the shaft rockers require taller valve covers and those are roughly 300-1200 depending on what ones you go with.

ERL/All Pro. Look at what the fastest cars in the country are using with no issues. Ray Litz just went 7.26 @ 198 in x 275 trim, single 88mm
