I bought the All Pro's off the classified section on this site (Not from Frankenstein racing). They were new and complete. The guy I bought them from had them as bare castings and supposedly built them to my specs. The first time I drove it it lost compression. This was a totally rebuilt motor. I removed the heads and the seats had rocked loose and ruined the valves. It was due to over porting of the short side radius. It would have required the short side radius to be welded and than the seats re machined. In the pictures you can see where the seats were installed and then over ported to paper thin. Just no meat to keep them in place so they rocked loose. Also I believe a different style of inter locking seat should have been used. When I sent them to Chris he said he could fix them but I was gun shy and Chris really took care of me on the new TFS'S

Yea I call them $2000.00 boat anchors! Lesson learned. After that I have just been dealing with a select few businesses who are all on the same page...

So what was the determined "optimum" CC size of the new frank heads? Total CR you'll end up with?

We went with a 62 cc chamber, which should give us 10:1 static compression.

That really sucks on the first set of heads. Hopefully this new set combined with the new turbo gets you where you want to be. I can't wait to see some new numbers for your car next season.
