My current that Im building is the white one which I am taking more time on and trying to keep everything on the car stocck (sheet metal wise etc) This one is done with a ebay GT45 which is physically a pretty big T4 turbo. Similar in size to the Borg T4 S475 which I will be swapping to as soon as the GT45 lets me down.

My old 370 T6 flanged turbo is the red/black engine bay (which I cut the entire rad support out and welded in new bars, shaved the firewall after the picture since I spun a bearing and yanked the motor and started making it more into a drag car then decided to part it.)

On your last pic, how close to the hood was your intake setup? And got of the motor mounts?

Not totally sure but I had to run a 4" cowl. I may have been able to get away with 3" but found it local. I ran Adapter plates on that setup. Which I dont recommend. PITA. On the current car I'm running spohn mounts with 4th gen poly's on the block.

If you go that route the only tip I can give is when installing the mounts on the K-memeber with 10mm bolts Push the mounts as high up as they go then bolt them in (spohn drills the mounts 1/2 clearance but the K-member is only 7/16) . It lined up decent. I had to use a pry bar and pound in the one bolt in the mount. But I also had 1/2" bolts. I would recommend going down to a 7/16 to give some clearance.

Im thinking im gonna run into clearance problems at some point now. My intake setup is a lot taller and I am running a 4" cowl too. Motor mounts I was thinking of going with those but hadn't decided.

Okay I'm thinking I want the plate style motor mounts. Anyone have some pics on a setup for a 3rd gen Camaro?

Also I just found a On3 Performance 76mm turbo locally for $150 but possibly needs rebuilt. I think I could talk the guy down though. Is it worth getting this turbo? And can any upgrades be done to it? Or should I just buy new?

Pass on3 turbos are in my opinion run till they quit and then throw away, yes I'm running one now.

I'm sure they could be rebuilt...but if it cost 300 bucks to rebuild a 350 buck turbo is it worth it? Not to me anyway.

Yeah true, my only thought to rebuild it was maybe there were upgrades for it that I did not know about.
