Heads, Best bang for the buck
Looking to build a motor over the winter. Looking for the best bang for the buck heads. Have a few sets 243, 317, and a set of 8. Building a turbo motor. Going with all the standard goodies. Just wondering if I was going to clean up a set of heads, which ones work the best. Also what about a set of aftermarket, Trick Flows or does anyone on here have a set ready to go

If you go with a 6.0 or bigger I am a fan of the rectangular port heads. Personally I run a set of ported LSA heads, but have seen great results from stock casting LS3/L92 and LSA heads as well...

If you already have them, the 'buck' part of the equation is already out.
243s flow great, but raise compression. 317s are usually used because they drop compression and you can run more boost on pump gas.
