Default opinions wanted on cam

I just finished up putting a cam in my Silverado engine and a procharger P1SC kit came up for sale locally. I bought the blower and I really dont want to change the cam again. Can anyone tell me what I can expect out of the current cam with the blower? I know it is not ideal for the blower, but here is the setup.

2000 silverado 2500 4wd
6.0 LQ4 317 heads, longtubes, stock truck intake
cam is Tick 226/234 .605/.612 110+3
4L80E w/ Yank 3200 Multi Disk

You will have to spin the blower much faster to accommodate your cam, but it will work and you'll make good power. Bob

If you need a copy of the ProCharger installation instructions for your truck, send me an e-mail asking for them, and I'll e-mail them back to you. brutespeed@gmail.com is my e-mail address. Bob

Thanks Bob, but I actually got the original manual with it. I do appreciate the offer though. As far as spinning the blower, what size pulley do you think? And is it even worth putting the blower setup on the truck? Or is the cam gonna hurt it bad enough that there is no point? THanks

With a 3.20 pulley on the blower it would be worth it. Bob

Thanks for the reply Bob. You wouldn't happen to know a ballpark on the boost would you? or a HP guess?

Hard to say. 8 psi and 120 extra rwhp as a guess. Bob

No way I'd pass up a good deal on a S/C kit just because the cam wasn't optimal.

I tell guys this all the time, "Any camshaft design will work and run in any engine design."

"How optimal that cam grind is for the intended application is a different story."

I'll echo what Bob said, and take a guess that you'll gain at least 120rwhp, possibly 130-140rwhp.
