BOV not loud all of a sudden.
BOV not loud all of a sudden. Had an issue where my map sensor blew out after a WOT run and caused my idle to sit at 3000 rpms. Now for some reason all of a sudden yesterday my BOV isn't all that loud anymore. MY idle still sits at around 1200 alot of times but drops to about 850 when I stop. Maybe they are related? Anyone have any ideas on this?
I'll check it and see. Like I said my map sensor blew out and was causing idle issues and it still idles high until i come to a full stop so I'm wondering if there is still a small vacuum leak somewhere.

Verdad Gallardo Lol! I figured out what it was. It has dropped into the 40s here for the first time and I only had my windows cracked so you could vastly hear it. I dropped my windows all the way and got v up up to 12 psi and it sounded normal. This is the first time I've driven the car when it was cold and had to roll the windows up. I'm surprised at how much sound it actually cancels out. Kind of embarrassing. Sorry guys.
