ls1 /ls6 the same?

ls1 /ls6 the same? I'm in the process of making turbo headers (down and forward) for my 05 ctsv , going twin turbo. I have a complete ls1 with ac that I'm using as a reference since clearence is a huge issue especially since I'll be going twin under the hood.
So my question is , is the ls1 and ls6 the same exact size? Are the ac compressor and alternator in the samw exact places?
I'm not sure if I'm measuring wrong but it seems like the alternator is slightly lower in an ls6 than an ls1. The ac compressors seem to be in the same location.
I did the passenger side already and it's exiting just above the water pump unless the water pumps aren't the same on both?
Any help would be much appreciated.
