another boosted 5.3 build... id like to start by saying that i want any and all opinions on the build. the goal is about 750 whp with a single turbo in an ecsb cateye chevy truck, the truck will not be a daily driver, it will be a street/strip car but mostly strip and it will also be 4wd. i have pictures but i will put them in the thread later tonight when i get them on the computer but heres the plans for now. all things that are listed with ??? i need opinions here guys! as i get some help on those things i will edit this post.
Engine- 5.3 lm7 out of an 01 silverado 1500. 202,xxx
cam- comp custom grind. not sure of specs yet

so far i have my motor along with the 4l60, harness, and ecu (all are forsake minus the motor and i will make an ad in the classifieds but if anyone is interested before then pm me. i am located in Lake orion Michigan and open to any and all offers.
everything is already stripped down to bare block and i dropped everything off earler today to the machine shop to clean/check everything. i will post pics here in about an hour. and im sure i forgot some parts to list above so if anyone sees anything then let me know

Talk to Martin or little John for the cam and springs. They give alot of help here, and are always willing to help.
Stock valve
Stock rockers with troions upgrade
That's a good oil pump, stock replacement one will work
Comp star rods. Many make that power on stock rods
Good choice for pistons.
Lifters. Those or a stock clean stock set
Stock crank
Use the eBay head studs $70
Turbo can't go wrong with Huron speed
Jakes 4L80E
Put a locker in the rear end. gear for tire size
Ebay intercooler 31x12x4
can use stock radiator right?
Twin in tank walbro 255's
80lbs injectors
Factory computer let liddo @ alternative performance I think it's called tune it.
I'm doing a 75 k10 so I've been digging all this **** up. Lol

okay heres a little update. i got the motor back from the machine shop earlier today and i ordered gauges for the truck cause i got a killer deal on them for cyber monday a few weeks back. the build is going to be on a slight hold because the turbo on my current truck (cummins) literally imploded and trashed the housing as well as the intercooler and i may even have to pull the head off. but the plan for now is to finish cleaning the motor and the prepping for paint. i have yet to decide on a color so any suggestions would be real appreciated. i do have a couple of questions on a custom grind cam so if anyone that sees this can help me out on what i should go with please do. ive read and read other threads but i cant wrap my head completely around it enough to order my own custom grind. i will also have a somewhat finalized build list here in a couple of weeks for everyone to pick apart. but thats enough talking for now. time for pics
