STS Turbos!!!!!
STS Turbos!!!!! I am finishing up a tune and wanted to know if leaving the previous headers car had on it would be ok instead of changing to the stock honed LT1 cast manifolds. Don't know if it will make a difference but wanted to see if anybody sees much of a difference in numbers. Sure its all based on boost amount. Expecting about 650hp with 12-13 psi on built 383 motor.
I've read headers are bad for the sts kits. I'm actually waiting on my kit in the mail. And I also read that if you wrap them it can aid in the spool time. But let me know how yours goes please lol. So I can know too. But I hope for the best brother. Keep us updated!!
I swapped my long tubes out in favor of the stock cast manifolds. I have to believe it will help keep heat and therefore volume in the exhaust system. I also wrapped the entire exhaust from the down pipes to the turbo. Im not tuned yet but i expect to see an decrease in spool time with the heat in the exhaust
