Which intercooler to go with???
Which intercooler to go with??? I have a 6.0 sbe with a vortech ysi in a 99 camaro and im trying to decide what intercooler to use. Im looking at the
Treadstone TR1245, which is efficient for 1000hp and 1469 cfm max flow @ 1.5 psi drop, core size 12.5x22x4.5
or
Proccharger LS1 f-body 1300hp race intercooler, no specs listed on their site,but appears to be the same size.
I like the design of the treadstone end tanks better than the procharger, and I like the fact that they actually list the specs for the intercooler. But if the procharger can actually support 1300hp efficiently then it should be better.
The ysi max hp is 1200 and the max cfm is 1600, but i dont plan on pushing it that hard until I get a better bottom end. The procharger unit is $600 more. So the question is, is it worth it or is the treadstone just as good?
