Default On3 70mm turbo on a 5.3?

If you read the title you kinda know what im working with. I havent got the turbo yet because im worried it will be too small. I've got a ls6 cam and an otherwise stock 5.3 this will be a blow-thru setup with a th-400 3000 stall and its all going in a 84 c10. this my first time messing with a turbo so im sorry if this all seems a little first grade. i would like to get somewhere in the neighborhood of 550ish rwhp with room to grow i know the 5.3 wont live forever under boost so a lq4 will more than likely be next i would like to make this a learning experience. Oh and i'll be on e85.

I would upgrade to the On3 76mm turbo for a 5.3.

And to be honest, the 5.3 will probably outlast an LQ4.

You'll get there but not have much room to grow past 550 I don't think. Search the on3 turbos on the FI section. This has been discussed tons if times.

For 100$ I would probably grab it. You just won't gave any room to grow though. As far as spool time, it SHOULD light off quick but their is a ton of other variables that dictate that as well

Don't worry about compressor a/r. Turbine A/R is more important.

For $100 I would run it. You can get your money back out of it when you get a little more turbo experience and know what you want.
