Default Wastegate placement.....

Going to start fabbing up my t6 kit on my 408 real soon. Either going with a s480 or something a little bigger. My question is, I see so many different set ups and where do you guys recommend place the wastegate (s)???? I have a million other questions but I'll just start with this for now. Thanks

You want the wastegate to be in line with the exhaust coming from the manifolds. So take a capital T, the long leg would be the crossover, top right is from the manifold, top left is the wastegate.

I placed mine at the merge, but dont get me wrong.... If i could do mine again, i would run twin gates iff the crossover pipes near to the exhaust manifold.

If you do one at the merge, you could still do the same thing. Just do another merge to the wastegate below the turbo.

Ok cool that's how I saw a few of them on here and figured I would do mine that way. Now the piping will be 2.25, looking to get about 7-800rwhp with room to grow eventually as this is starting to turn into a grudge car (not that I want it to as I like driving it on the street but it's getting more and more like that). I see a lot of people running the s480 and figured I would start there unless told otherwise. What wgs do you guys think I should run with?

I like jgs wastegates. A single 60 or two smaller 40mm will suffice.
