Default Cfm= HP ?

Hi all, I'm here for some understanding,

Does cfm = Hp in some form (in a perfect world)

I have a v1t vortech blower, I'm trying to work out pullies for.

If you had two engines :A, an ls3 at 450 na HP say, spinning the blower at 55,000rpm pushing 1200cfm = 800 fwhp at say 16psi,

and engine B, an ls1 380hp, spinning the blower at 55,000 rpm pushing 1200cfm also, would it also make 800hp, just with more boost say 20psi.

If cfm equals hp then engine would decide the boost? A being able to ingest air more efficiently

An I in the ball park here?

CFM is an ambiguous term when it comes to the mass of air. CFM only refers to the volume, regardless of mass or pressure.

Therefore 1200 CFM at 8 PSI is a whole lot less air than 1200 CFM at 18 PSI.

Ok, i want to supply about 75lbs 72lbs of air per min roughly 720-750hp, i can calculate the pullies to tell me what the impeller will spin at,
How can i calculate how much mass it will flow at say 50,000rpm
Or decide what to spin the blower at, ie decide on pulleys?

The way to deconflict the theory that CFM = horsepower is that a 3 in tube can flow plenty but not always what you are looking for in terms of design
