Im switching over to an iron 5.7 but i plan on pushing the limits of a 4bolt setup. If you are going to be happy below 1K, stay aluminum.

Definitely staying aluminum the most I ever see this car (my street/wknd warrior) is 10xxwhp and at that point would have an ls2 block at least. Actually found decent price on one so might do that route now.

For gauges do you guys run a boost gauge and a boost controller? Was thinking about just getting a eboost2 and skipping the boost gauge?

The eboost is a boost gauge, so youre fine. I run a manual controller so I needed a boost gauge. Eboost2, Eboost Street, Boost Leash, most electronic controllers double as a gauge. I have an AMS-500 (not installed) that is electronic but it doesn't have a readout so i need to keep the seperate gauge.

Just some updates: Got bunch stuff from BMR and couldn't be happier, excellent packaging, fast shipping, and perfect quality. Got a complete fuel system from Nasty Performance also. Slowly but surely getting everything together. Gotta have the car on road good to go by first week of May.!

Im also getting the v2 twins. Im planning on the turbonetics 6468 billet wheel turbos. my car is getting a 414" engine in the coming seasons and wanted room to grow. Cant wait to get this on the car and running. ive thought about buying a second set of turbos just to try out (on3 61mm) just to see what I can spank out of them

From mickey Thompson:
With a manual at the track the radials do not hook well. With an automatic the radials work best. If you have a manual you will want a bias tire like the et streets. The radial and bias will get around 2-3000 miles a year. Both can handle street driving and cruising.
If they get same mileage whether radial or bias then should be fine because I average around 2-3k year

What tire I particular are you talking about? I assure you if you run a biased ply slick on the street it won't last 2000 miles.

MT ET street is your best bet. Don't try to run the pro or a biased ply you will be wasting your money.

^ u mean don't use a radial?

Side note what radiator hoses are you guys using? I bought a Griffen 25241x and Derale 16925 fans. If I don't need to weld on anything for this year rather not, at this point just trying to get this car done in time. ..

No, I'm saying don't buy a biased ply tire for the street. The PRO and street are radial tires. However I wouldn't even run the PRO on the streets.

Update:

T56 magnum just arrived

Prc 225cc as cast heads

One problem I have now. I ordered 17x6 weld rts wheels for the fronts when I was told "Run these tires" from a local guy? He thought I had a auto trans. Now I'm hearing 50/50 on bias vs radials. Some say go radial and others say it won't hook for crap.
This is a street car but I don't want to be spinning all the time ( what's the point of having power if your never getting traction)
I have the chance to send these fronts back for a 17x4.5 ( CANT FIND BIAS THAT FITS 17X6???) Just need to know if radials is ok..

Just received my Griffen radiator so going to mock that up this weekend.
Also ordered a pair of Bw s360's from Forced Inductions. Said they would handle 850whp all day and be great on the street. Couldn't beat the price either.
Everyone I've spoken to about my car has recommended Bias ply tires all around (few guys with manuals and over 700whp, street). This car won't being seeing a whole lot of highway/interstate miles, mostly in town, smaller crusies, ect.. can always get a second set of wheels worse case.
I hear a lot of guys say run qtp's but they are not street legal and I'd like to get 2k+ miles (would be nice). My old set of et street radials lasted 2 yrs and had tread left (550hp SS)

60/68 .91 ar twin scroll ett<br/>Kinda worried about the spool on these, seem big to me. Got them from forced inductions and this is what he suggested so guessing I'll be alright..??

They should spool reasonably well, although I'd have used the open scroll 0.88. It's just pointless using a divided scroll unless you have tubular or manifolds designed to mate to such a scroll.

That said, the 0.91 divided will be smaller than the 0.88 open, so that fact may help spool a little if you needed a smaller turbine housing than the 0.88, in which case it would make sense.

^ thanks. This is my first turbo build and haven't seen much to copy off of. I don't want them spooling instantly, would like in the upper 3k range tho. Long as they aren't "laggy"and make the car feel lazy. Buddy has a PTE 7675 and he just blows the tires off all day haha. No thanks.
