Default How to modify fuel rail(dampner) for boost?

I will be switching to a return type rail on my 04 lq4 witch is caurrently non-return. So, what do you do to pulse dampner? I'm planning on being able to run 18/20 lbs of boost, am planning on two bosch 044 's and an aeromotive boost referenced regulator thanks

So does that mean no need for the aeromotive reg? And just leave it connected the way is ? Seems way too easy....... (surely It's nessacary to spend more money lol!)

Feed and return at the regulator, then run a line from regulator to OEM rail. Leave the pulse damper.

Hey forcefed, so your saying just use the non return rails and hook up the way you suggest, i do like that way, seems the simplest. I thought "best" or most "consistent "way to regulate fuel pressure was to use a return rail, feed it first from the pump, then the return off the rail to the regulator. Is it really 2 different ways of doing the same thing, or is it high horsepower and/or boost levels That would make the difference? Thanks

The way pictured has worked to 900ish whp on E85. Very capable setup for most builds. More than enough for pump/race gas builds to 1000+ IMO.

As forcefed said, it works well.

On both of these setups I used the stock rail and returned off the regulator.

With dual walbro 430s and the second pump on a hoobs switch there's no spike in fuel pressure.

Yea planning the second pump on a hobbs also. I have the option of either way, just want it to be as "foolproof "as possible and not have to chase my tail because I should have done something different . Since it seems that I'll keep the non return line rail, I do have the option of using rails and intake off a 08 truck motor, the intake that looks like tbss one with the square stainless rails.what do you guys think about that one? Any benefit for a boosted motor?

I have 2 044's pushing through a -8 to the factory truck rails with a -6 return. Factory reg works good.
