Default IAT sensor on a 98..

Been looking for this all day and even PMed someone.. I looked at a wiring diagram and it says the the IAT wires on a 98 are purple and tan. Their is no such wires in the maf but the wires that ran to the back of the lid are both purple and tan. I'm assuming these are it? Would like to hear it from someone else before I solder the wires in.

The fbody iat is separate from the maf. Pin A is purple and pin B is the tan wire.

That's gotta be it.. It's the longest wire towards the front of the car and tan and purple wires. I don't guess it matters which side plugs into what on the sensor..

Connect the scanner before soldering, if the iat doesn't read reverse the wires and burn some rosin core.
