Coils for FI Hey guys, I'm doing a pair of 450 cu in lsx block motors for a boat project. They will have Whipple chargers and a Dailey dry sump setup, all good parts throughout, as well as the Holley HP system. Looking for opinions on coil choices. I know a lot of guys use OEM coils from whatever setup they have, or a junkyard core, etc., but we are starting from scratch, and I'm not sure what others have experienced with MSD stuff, if there is a stock factory coil that's better than the others, etc.
Planning on running around 12-15 lbs boost, inline Allpro heads, water intercooled, so it's not super crazy on cylinder pressure. Probably gonna make 8-900 hp on pump gas.
