Tuning my buddies turbo setup recently, He went from making about 0.6psi of boost to make 3 psi of boost on the footbrake with just leaning out the car below 5 psi and adding more timing. Tuning helps a ton. But then again, so does a transbrake. haha

Wasnt the tuners fault at all. We pulled it off dyno and had to fab to get tires to fit. I drove down to the shop and wanted to take it out on maiden voyage. During the little loop I stopped to try to see what it would do from a stop.

They looked at the tune since I hadnt let them dial it in on the street with the big tires. Where it footbrakes to is on a part of the map that you would never touch unless you did exactly what I did.

Thats why its called dialing in. I will report back to you guys. Car drove amaing cruising in traffic and partial throttle.

so how hard was it fitting 295/55's?
sorry to be off topic but i want wider than a 275, i have totally cut off my bumpstops so wondering what you had to do

Cut out bump stops completely, "massage" with a hammer various other spots and run a 5/16th spacer. We removed a total of 6.3lbs of metal. Stock length rear

Or just have a correct tune & converter/gear.

For building boost on the foot brake or transbrake and no two step (cause I don't have it wired yet) I had the best luck with keeping the timing higher and normal cruise/idle Afr of 14.7. Is your turbine twin scroll or just open? What size is your crossover?

We are going to adjust the timing and a/f in that region today hopefully. Turbo is open not divided. Crossover pipes are 2.25 i think? Whatever Huron Speeds are. Will update later.
