A couple of the drift cars we have done have had the radiator out back. Not under the car though.... Most of the cars have been Nissan 240SX. Every time I have seen it done, they remove the rear window and cut vents into the rear bumper to release the air. For the most part, they use a stock water pump and have no problems. Let me see if I can find a few pictures to post up.

I wouldn't mind doing this on the truck at some point. I have two questions though.

1. Would it be better to run a remote mount in the rear pushing the water up front and another remote pump up front returning water to the back to take some of the load off the rear pump? Or would that be a waist?

2. What is the best way to purge all of the air out of a system like this?

my thought would be to copy the rear engine front mount radiator setups. when I was younger, I had a toyota mr2 and those pipes were tiny. I also think the porsche's only use 1.5" pipes for the water pipe size. I think you go with 1 1/4" to 1 1/2" max pipe size.
