Default Guidence Request - New to LS and Boost

I am new to LS and Boost.


Is there a thread or information link/source for a beginner to build a boosted LS? Specifically, I am looking for a step by step guide.


I am also interested in buying the right parts new or second hand. Ideally, I want to use the original computer and an external fuel pump.


What I have is a '03 5.3, manifolds, harness and computer from a Suburban. I also have (2) small turbos and (1) large turbo.

Pretty sure that's a fly by wire throttole body. If so, you're probably going to want the accelerator pedal and the tach box associated with it.

I have to back to the salvage yard to get the pedal.
What is the tach box?

What chassis is this going into and what size are your turbos?

Sorry, I am that new to LS.
It's an electronic box bolted to the firewall between the brake booster and the driver's fender. One of the wires runs through the firewall to the accelerator pedal. Just push the wire into the cabin and remove the pedal.

Is there a way to glue pieces into the holes that are in the intake? Or is there a good way to plug/cap them?

not secure enough for boost

you can drill and tap and plug it but the composite nylon stuff doesn't glue all that well that I know of

back to the original post, hang out here and you'll learn all you need to know.

and keep asking questions! there are no dumb questions, and verify the answers you get.

We are changing the throttle body and computer to a '01 unit.

Any good direction/posts/links for a DIY Methanol Injection System?

I did not have any luck finding it. I am not goot a searching and often rely on my somn to find stuff on the net. Can you direct me to the information?

What is a good redline for a boosted stock 5.3? I've read 5800. I'd like to go 6200. Any advise?

Where ever it stops making power...

6200 is fine. Some go even higher.
