Which Lifters ? Was wondering which lifters you guys are using . I'm shifting my LS1 at around 6700 right now and and peak power was close to 7000 on the dyno .My setup is a built shortblock stock 243 heads small ECS cam and a D1SC in my Camaro . Was looking at the CTSV lifters p/n 88958689 or would the LS7 ones be okay right now still running the stock LS1's not that I'm having any issues at the moment but only have about 125 miles and 6 dyno pulls and 4 track passes...

Given you need to pull the heads etc to change...why are you getting the notion now if there are no signs of a problem ?
And power peaking at 7k is pretty high even more so with a small cam. If that's the case it sounds like the combo is working very well

I've swapped LS7's into a lot of projects, they will hold just fine and have been proven again and again. Like stevieturbo said though, I wouldn't be worried about swapping lifters until you see signs that it needs to be done.
