Hot side ? I'm putting 2 bw366s on a 6.0 LS and am going to use stainless works headers, My question is, the collector is 3 inches. Can I run 3 in piping to feed the turbos from the collector. I bought turbo flanges that already have 3 inch on them.
You can, but most prefer 2.25 inch or 2.5 inch feeds. But if its a short run from the headers to those collectors you picture than it wouldnt make much sense to step the piping size down and then back up. But If you had the option for header collectors and turbo flange inlet to be 2.5 inch I would choose that over the 3 inch...but its not an option it sounds like?
