5.3 with T6 S480 or S475 ???

Default 5.3 with T6 S480 or S475 ???

Just wondering how this combo would work out. I have a 6.2L LS3 in the garage that im in the process of building and will eventually get swapped in. Right now the cammed 5.3 is already in my truck so I was thinking what the hell? May aswell slap on an S475 or S480 and see how it works out. cant decide to go with the S480 T6 1.32 a/r or the T6 1.32 a/r S475 because im going with bigger cubes (376ci) down the road. I will be using a schdule 40 log manifold, this is in an S10 and space is kind of too tight to run a divided hotside. How would this work out on the street? Im using E85 for fuel
is the S480 worth the extra $300 ? I want to make 800-900rwhp

The 5.3 will be slow to spool a 1.32 AR T6 housing. Very slow. Even worse if you cannot keep the pipes divided all the way to the turbine flange.

It's not very slow spool with right cam I use s475 t6 with 1.32


Use t6 with 1.10 for spool faster

Maybe cam and tune could help the 5.3 with the T6 480. But I would rather get a better turbo for the combo. Or leave it for the 6.2 build.
What cam is in the 5.3 now? Are you willing to swap cams if your current one is a no-go?

Damn that is a lot of overlap for a turbo 5.3...

I use LJMS stage 2 with 5.3 it's so good for s375 t6
