converter, turbo set up need help

Default converter, turbo set up need help

I have a 67mm rear mount turbo an i have a th400 with a 10' converter with a 3500 stall. an i am having trouble meshing the two. the converter is great of the trans break. but just driving around the street I am not seeing any boost till 4,000 rpm. any suggestion on us my converter to big or do I need to address something else.

Get a front mount turbo setup.

I would also look into the turbo setup, a rear mount can make for a higher RPM spool.

unfortunate for me I spent a lot on this rear mount. so it sadly has to stay. I bought 75 ft of heat tape an I'm looking for a smaller converter. knowing that I am going to keep it any suggestions?
