Default What Emission cam for D1-SC

I live in WI and the emissions use a sniffer test with the procedure. My set up will be Absolute Speed 6.0 Stage 2 heads with the D1-SC pullied to 8lbs. of boost. Will have 340 Walbro in tank with 42lb ford injectors. My current cam is a Thunder Racing 220/220 .561/.561 114 cam. Im looking for the best cam for my set up that will still being able to pass emissions! Will it be worth it to go to an emissions legal blower cam or should i just stay with the TR220?
If it is wirth it which cam ??

If any replies THANK-YOU

I would stay with that cam too. With your config and emissions requirements it'll do very well.

You want to keep the overlap to a minimum so you can pass a sniffer test.

A 220/220/114 cam probably has no overlap at all. Neither does a stock camshaft.

On the other hand, duration makes power.

For now I would leave it, you could try like a 224/224//114 but is it worth the $$$ to swap? I can't say whether it's worth another 10hp or 30hp.

Is that cam in there now??? does it pass emissions now....... i doubt it will............maybe go down on the intake side and run a cam like BigBos's a 218/224 on a 115LSA........ Im not sure about what cams pass and wich ones dont... we dont have emissions here in south Texas.... are you running cats and stock manifolds.

220/220/114 will pass no problem it has a number of times.

224/224/114 passes too.

Has anyone passed with 224/230/114, with cats, and a decent tune?

Does an engine run as clean with a supercharger? The 224's pass the sniffer on a N/A car, but with a supercharger would they still pass?
