Default Need help with overall dimensions of the BW S475.

Can one of you guys with a S475 give me the overall height and width of the turbo. I’ve looked all over google, LS1tech, and downloaded the catalog from BW and can't find the overall dimensions of the turbo. Everything I find is the intake and exhaust size but I’m looking for the overall dimensions. I would like to go with S475 after seeing the power their making. I’m just not sure if it will fit under the hood. I have my engine out of the car and torn down waiting on the cam and head gaskets to come but I know a guy running the same set up but with a TC7575 with 3” between the hood and turbo when the hood is closed. I’m working with Martin on the cam and turbo but without the dimensions I don’t want to buy it then not fit. I know the TC76 will fit but I’d rather go with the S475 if I can.

Thanks
Austin

Try using the Borg Warner part number (for example 171702). You should be able to find a diagram then. Try here http://hubbardracinginc.com/product/borg-warner-s300sx3-series-turbo-71mm-1-32ar/

I had the same issue. There are some dimensions out there, just not all of them.

T4 or T6? The turbine housing makes a difference in how it will sit. I have a t4 S475 sitting on my motor on a stand right now. Let me know what dimensions you are looking for.

Thanks for the help guys!

It's going to an a T4 flange. If you can alocker please take measurements like KMspeedie did. I was going to get an exhaust log built by KB racing but he's in the middle of moving his shop and won't be able to build one for a while so im going to make my own... Im pretty sure i can get a turbo to fit for sure now but the measurements will still give me an idea where things need to be so it clears everything.

Again thanks guys!
