I am working on getting a video of the boost gauge up and scan the graph in. It's all in the tuning now My car was off the charts rich, I gained 16hp/48tq just by turning the FP from 55psi down to 48(rising rate) That is awesome. The dyno guy is now confident the car will put down the numbers. I also know why the car didn't have any power past the 1/8 mi, the damn thing was MEGA rich and not making any power.
I can't say enough about SDCE spring tensioned set up. No slip just a nice steady climb. No belt dust verified by me, my brother Eric and the dyno dude Chris. He thought the pulley set up was the ****. Especially the s/c to pan brace, because he knew how bad the s/c pulley and alt use to hit before. None of that this time.
We had the mechanical gauge inline this time, outside of the car strapped to the dyno. I couldn't get close because the dyno guy was worried about our safety so I zoomed in from across the shop the best I could. The exhaust inserts were out for both pulls. We did three but the first one the car spun em on the rollers due to it not being tied down good enough
The difference between the mech and the digital boost gauge was one PSI, the digi boost gauge read 10psi after the pulls, so take that for what its worth. Did the exhaust inserts put that much backpressure on the exhaust to make the gauge read 16.2, I don't know for sure now. I can see maybe 14-15psi but not 16.2 after that little test. I was also at a weird angle from the boost gauge so I could have read 10 for all I know??? I didn't get a pre intercooler reading because the dyno dude had and install to get to so sorry about that
Pic and video will be up in a minute,

lol, kick start I have a MAC, because they are easy for us non computer types to use.
Here is a dynograph
Here is the movie
http://home.comcast.net/~jsbird1998/dyno.mov
2.4megs
Two still frames from those clips,
1st pull
2nd pull
I know that it isn't big HP but like I said, it's all in the tune now, 1 or 2 more edits from NoGo and I am golden.
I did car did have a mishap on the dyno though, the tranny spit out fluid from the pan edge on the pass front corner of it. All the tranny pan bolts were stinkin loose I don't know how that happened. So we tightened all the bolts back up and all was fine. Imagine if it spit out fluid on one of my track passes

Nice #'s especially with the way it sits now, that AFR curve is naaaaaaasty
You can tell the belt isn't slipping because of the way it climbs w/the rpms........
I can't wait to get my stuff now

there is 30 more rwhp if you would just lock your converter plus around 20 more when you get the a/f fixed. That big vig is eating up at least 25-30 I bet..
It will also make your lower rpm a/f tuning much more accurate. You can lock it with a jumper wire if you dont have a tech II/efi live, all you have to do is ground one wire from the PCM..

9psi is asking alot of the stock drive system IMHO. That solid tensioner leaves alot to be desired.
How is that other ATI car doing that is up close to you Steve, haven't heard from him in a while? Use to have his own site.

SJH - Did you see the dynograph, the power dropped big time when it went super rich. Don't let those HP numbers fool you. I made 15hp/48tq just by leaning it out a little with the ADJ FPR(from 55psi down to 48psi)It will make more with this pulley but I need to get a better edit file loaded into the car.
I am barely spinning the D1, check my other post with pulley calculations. I definately need a 3.4 on it. The power will come on sooner and make more power and boost.
PSJ If I can hit 10's with the new tune I will be happy, but to answer your question 550-560 I guess......if not I am going to rip the s/c off and go nitrous j/k Brad
Still chipping away at it guys, I was just posting the success of the SDCE set up for my car today. Hopefully the numbers will be coming soon.

Made my first 596 rwhp at 6-7 psi on the stock d1 ati kit with 16 degress timing. No funky tensioner setups, no special tuning other then the norm and 11.1 a/f. I dont get what all this hub bub is. I have the same belt from 3k miles ago (the one that came with the kit)and 15ish track runs and numerous dyno pulls. It got loose once and never had an issue after that? Am I missing something.
