Theres way more you can do in the tuning to affect idle... than there is in the camshaft... believe me... lol
Like what? change idle timing? AFR?

When I first got my car it had a nice chop to it. The more I tuned on it the smoother the idle became. It drives me nuts, I'd like to get the idle choppy again as I love the sound!

I am running an old reverse split 230/224 from Ed Curtis at Flowtech Induction from 8+ years ago so I'm a bit fuzzy on the complete specs and would have to dig them out at home. He wanted me to switch it out for a traditional split grind years back when I started to push it harder but I'm lazy and that sounds like work and the car runs well enough to not want to make any changes. It's a 347 cubic inch motor at a whopping 8.5:1 compression with AFR 225 heads, it's old and was originally built for our crappy 91 octane out here in the desert but I converted it over to E85 some 7 years ago. Just keeps going and going...

Since anybody can make up dyno numbers I'll just say that at 3400 lbs the car has gone 9.17 @ 152 in the quarter. It went 5.85 @ 122.3 in the 1/8th on one pass but I let out so I didn't get kicked off the track and should have just stayed in it. LOL

I'd be curious what the specs of that cam are. I have a 640/610 lift cam with 227/224 115+2 cam right now and I don't think it is ideal, but was thinking about sticking with it even on my new 383 build with a 78/75 turbo....

LOL, I've literally had my rear brakes taken apart on the Camaro for 3+ weeks now and I only have a half hours worth of work left to finish it and it's still not done. I barely have time to take a **** at this point.
