Default cooling system problem need ideas

Alright boosted peeps, got a issue i need some help with . having cooling system pressure issues.so i thought maybe i popped a HG or lifted a head, but i tested and tested for hydrocarbons in the cooling system and it passes every time. Car never over heats or uses coolant.temps stay within 20 deg.hottest it gets is 190 and usually sits around 175 with my 160 tstat.some how i keep getting air in the system and it seems over pressurized.car can sit for 5 days and still the hoses are rock hard . running a stock 18psi cap on my griffen rad,but going to try a 16psi one.i tried bleeding the system for 45 min and still has air coming up. Only thing i can think is maybe its because of my steam vent in the upper rad hose? Any thoughts?

How much pressure is in there then ?

And you're saying even after the car has sat for 5 days with engine not running, there is still pressure in the system ? How much ?
