Default ATI P1SC-1: Multi misfire code

It's been roughly a day since I've had the SC on and it threw a few codes today.

1. Bank1 FT lean
2. Bank2 FT lean
3. Multiple misfires

I have the complete kit from ATI that includes 38# injectors, inline fuel pump and their programming in a DSP. I'm running a 3.4" pully (7psi) as well. At 4k RPM and higher is when the misfires occurs. Almost feels like when you bang against the rev limiter, but the gas pedal isn't being forced up.

My questions are: would running lean cause the misfires and if I increase WOT enrichment could that fix the problem? Do I need to advance spark at all? Unfortunately, I don't know what my current A/F ratio is, but it's obviously lean.

TIA,
John

The TR55 is ur problem. Those are too hot for boost and could cause misfire. Buy some TR6 plugs and fix ur problem. Also how lean are we talking here? From my experince Lean condition doesnt cause misfire and i dont suggest u go WOT if u really dont know ur AF. Swap the plugs and take the car to the dyno and see whats ur AF before u open her up. Good luck.

I've noticed that most seem to run the TR6, so I will definitely give that a try. As far as how lean, I'm not really sure unfortunately. I won't be able to get on the dyno till sometime this week. I'm going off of the SES codes that showed up. Thanks for the input.

TR55s really wont hurt anything just driving around, not the best thing for WOT with a blower though and you should use TR6s

If the ATI tune is made for a screen in the MAF and yours is gone your tuning will be way off. You need to take the car somewhere that has some supercharged LS1 experience with LS1edit and get the car tuned.

Ok, I called ATI to find out what mods were taken into consideration for the programming in the DSP. They didn't have the !MAF in there, so I put back the stock ends with the screen. Before changing that back the ST's were 9% and LT's were 25% at idle. Now they're at 0% and 15% at idle.

Could someone give me a brief explanation of ST and LT please?

They're is still a slight misfire above 4k in 1st and 2nd, but 3rd and 4th seem ok. The lean and misfire codes haven't come back up yet. I picked up some TR6's today and will change the plugs out tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.

OK... lean and misfire issues have been worked out. Turned out that the inline fuel pump wasn't getting power.
