Procharger rant! Please help
I've read and heard alot of issues with the F1-X and up blowers, and I'm not sure the reasons people have had issues. But for a fun street car, up to about 1000hp, it's hard to beat the simplicity of a p1/d1/f1a,c,r procharged setup.
You can bolt it on over a weekend. With an 8-rib, sprung tensioner pulley, belt slip is all but eliminated and you don't have the overheating issues or oiling/exhaust/boost creap issues you have with turbos.... and turbos have their own set of headaches and issues.
Fact is, there are going to be issues with a high hp car, just figure out what you want to do and do your homework.

Dude i just got done watching youre videos after a year of not seeing any of youre recent videos. And i never knew this was you. I have some things in the works as far as an F1A build is going. Im going to Facebook you.
I've watched someone start their F1A build, change to turbo and still not have a running car yet. I like to keep **** simple and just enjoy my car! No turbos, boost controllers, CO2, wastegates or oil feeds.
