Default Coating a centrifugal supercharger

I have a vortech Ysi. Satin. I want it black.

I can paint it or possibly powdercoat it.

Painting is much easier and likely easier to touch up but will it stand up to the heat?

Hell will powdercoating stand up to the heat? My Valve covers never had an issue but I do not know how hot the headunit will reach.

Thanks for the help.

If you're getting hot enough to damage either powdercoat or paint, you have bigger things to worry about

I painted a p1sc w wrinkle finish black and it came out amazing. But then again Im a big fan of wrinkle and hammertone finishes.
Should have no probs. Just prep like any other piece of aluminum for paint.
