Do I need the bigger log? I've heard that you do and that you don't. Which one? With a 408 motor, wiil the 76-GTQ be to small and can I hurt the turbo? Should I just go with a 375ci and call it a day? Thanks guys for your help.

Go 375 and call it a day. The 76GTQ is kind of small for a 375 anyhow, and if you plan to push BIG hp you will run into backpressure problems and you will reach the choke limit fairly quick. As for the log design, if you are stuck running a log, make it as large as possible. Running all 8 cylinders through 1 log is not ideal.

JZ 97 SS 1500, do you think I can make over 700rwhp with the stock 346ci? I don't want to damage the Turbo buy going to big on cubic inches. As for the log who makes the biggest one? Can you make one like the TTi, but bigger? IF so let me know that way I can order the turbo and the log form you together. Thanks for all your help.

A 348 will make all the power and torque you want, it will be MUCH cheaper and MUCH easier to drive on the street than a 400+ inch turbo motor will, and you will probably end up making more power. A 427 or a 408 is going to be moving a ton of exhaust flow, so you could potentially be choking off the exhaust wheel before you have maxed out the compressor side of the mtoor.
Just my 2 cents, i'm running a 360" motor (4.1" bore and 3.4" stroke) and at 775 RWHP it's actually driveable on 17" BFG drag radials. If this were a 400+ inch motor with a 4" stroke, it would be making well over 900 torque to the ground and would light up the tires if you gave it any throttle.
