Default hotside close to hood?

Guys

ive got a s475 that im putting on my lq4 in my 67 camaro. turbo will be near where the battery was (now in trunk)

using truck manifolds for now.

the driver side hotside comes up and across near where the hood would be.

im planning on coating/wrapping the pipes anyway, but can the pipes be that close to the hood without cooking the paint for other adverse affects?

thanks

How close is close? My old setup was about 1" off the hood and I never had any issues. It got mighty toasty but never hurt the paint.

Use something like that DEI wrap and shouldn't be a problem
