Too many mile for an A&A??
Recently picked up a 2000 M6 C5. It's been well taken care of and serviced. Clock reads 124k miles. Other than some long tubes and cold air, it's bone stock. I was considering a A&A kit and running a mild 7-8lbs with a good tune. I have a goal of 500-520rwh. What are some other areas I should address during the swap? Valvetrain wise like springs, lifters, pushrods etc. I'm a noob to FI and any suggestions and help is much appreciated.

That won't be a problem at all with those miles, some good dual springs hardened pushrods and trunion upgrade is always a great idea, I have an a&a setup on my 99 c5 with a ysi it makes 950 josh at a&a is awesome they have the best customer support I have ever dealt with.

Define "necessary"...
Absolutely vital/crucial to the success of adding a centrifugal blower? No.
A really freaking good idea for any time you want more power or performance than the original equipment? Hell yes.
Boost usually requires heavy duty valve springs. That's all that is really necessary. But heavy duty valve springs should be paired with heavy duty pushrods. And the trunion upgrade is a durability thing, it is a good idea to do regardless of boost.
