I saw that . I called procharger the other day to inquire about that bracket and he steered me to the lsx swap kit. If I go with this bracket , will it hold a d1sc? It looks like it bolts on to the truck bracket. My only concern is how much higher than the alt is this set up?

I would highly recommend working with Brutespeed Bob. Will set you up with everything you need and nothing u don't. He also itemizes things for folks on a budget and his advice is always free.

My two cents would be to go with a truck kit to keep your current setup or ditch it in favor if the Vette kit. I love the vette setup because it is compact and looks like it belongs. You would need to get a CTSV gen ii ps pump pulley to clear the steering box but that's cheap. I know you have the vvt but I honestly wouldn't be running it with boost anyhow...seems like a compromise in an area crucial for optimum boost performance.

My humble opinion....

Here are a couple pics of the transplant kit, and the CTSV pump-I used this in my 72 chevelle-there is a diff bet the iron and alumn PS kit due to holes/diff in blocks-this was the cog version, not the greatest for a D1SC

Ya the whole vvt thing seemed cool at the time but now I'm Thinking of getting rid of it. I'm looking the wipple 2.9 now , seems like it would be a better fit. The non emission kit is 5400$ anybody running a wipple on a set up like mine?

Ya that set up wouldn't clear my power steering pump. that's the issue and the truck set up won't fit under the hood

I'm running a 2.9 whipple on my TBSS. Only issue I see is you have your AC mounted where the whipple tensioner would go.

Have you looked into a 5th gen Camaro procharger bracket? That's what I'll be using on my 68 Camaro.
