10.5:1 and boost, street driven flex fuel LM7
Vehicle: 5200LB 05 Silverado RCSB daily driver street truck, 4L80e w/ Circle D 2B ~3200 stall, Trick 76mm turbo kit.
Somehow I figured compression would help with low end and had the 862's milled .030". With a stock .051 gasket and dished lm7 pistons, SCR comes in at 10.4:1. I plan to run e85 most of the time, and I have the flex fuel sensor plumbed. I wanted the option of running 91 octane if I got stuck between e85 stations.
Did I make a poor choice in milling the heads or should I have given them a .005" cleanup and left well enough alone? I can source another set of 862's if needed.
Cam is a Tick truck turbo cam 215/219 .612/.585 114+3 cam
