Default Opinions on twins for 410?

Ok. Got and elbow from Aaron at 6061. This thing looks great and it was at my door in just a few days. I opted for the seperating plate. Pics below. What are you high powered guys doing to seal up the TB and elbow at 20+psi. I was thinking about machining for an oring but if a flat gasket will work ill run with it.
Let me know what you think.

Hey guys,

I am looking at a twin setup this time and am curious what you guys think. I am looking at the cheap stuff right now out of curiosity. First of all this car is 90% track duty if not 100. Instant spool is not important. I just dont want a 6 plus second spool time at the light. Th400 with about a 4000 stall, 232/240 595/608 115lsa cam. I am going to swap this cam out most likely for something that matches whatever setup i end up with. This will definitely be e85 or racefuel only, no pumpgas here. Lol Goals are 1k-1250hp, mid 8 or quicker if possible.

Cx GT3582 t4, i think though they would spool well but they will not support that much power on this displacement.

So that means I'm probably looking at 70-78mm. The 78/75 my brother uses as single is a very nice turbo for the price. How do you guys think spool would be with something like that?

On a seperate note. I have the chance to pick up a PT101/106 cheap. I have no experience with a turbo of this size. If you have experience with a turbo this size and an engine around my displacement please share your experience.

Thanks for all the help guys.
Jeff

Just stick a pair of BW 366's if you're on a tight budget.

And current cam would work fine.

No budget really. What would you recommend in place of 366 if budget isnt important?

I'd live to try a pair of the new Precision 6870's...but they're well outside my budget.

So the closest alternative for me would be a pair of the new 6973 SXE's or something close, although dont think you'd need to go that big for your goals.

eg a pair of these 66mm's would easily get you there and still on a sensible budget

look at Turbonetics T60 series turbos. They are in the $650 range and can be made into a million different sizes.

Those 6973 are sweet but overkill if I am raising the cost to where there are a lot of options. The 366s are a decent price for sure. What housing would you go with? 88t4?

S366 with a 73.. turbine and the .88 or .91 housing.... for 699 each... Or if you were wanting a little growing room... there is the 69mm S300SXE for 999 each.

I am also going back and forth btn truck manifolds and fabbed tubular manifolds. Let me know what you think.

I guess that mostly depends on bore size and heat. I personally won't push past 900 on pump just because I don't have a reason to do so. Aa big engine could easily go further.
