Awesome job Ron!

Your attention to detail and preparation shows in the results!

No doubt it has 8s in it. Another tenth off your 60' and you're 9.0s.. 2 more psi of boost and you're solidly in the 8..

Crazy performance out of a stock 5.3 with a cam.

Interesting note.. 149 @ 6500 with 3.42s on 28s. Your converter is very efficient up stairs. Mine at 151 is at 6900 ish, on 3.42/28s. I've tightened the converter twice. Maybe it has to do with the weight too. I'm 3600lbs race ready, I'm sure you're lighter then that.

Either way, congrats buddy. I can't wait to see you hit 8s.

Ron, what size injectors are you running-I have the Holley 120's, was thinking of doing an E85 tune in it and see how it ran next spring
I have the "hated" 12-1200 Dom pump, been flawless, even ran 12 #'s of
boost on just one pump, 93 Oct (forgot the fuse on the sec pump, lol)
Not sure how it would do on E85 though

Thanks Alan.
I seem to remember you predicted my vette would run a ten too. 😊
The PTC converter shows 5-6% slip up top. It really works well. It flashes to 5400 once the car leaves. And it drives around nice to boot.
I have forged internals to add over the winter. And of course need to address the fuel system a bit.
Not real sure I want a parachute though.....

I have ID1000 injectors. According to thier data sheet, they flow 116 lb/hr at my 60 psi base pressure.
In my logs, the Holley pump is done at 77psi, and the pressure drops to 75 at the end of the run.
Duty cycle right at 100% there, but is 110% at the shifts.
I believe it's all safe, but I'm pushing all the limits.
AFR stays solid throughout the run. Doesn't mean every cyl is happy though.

Hi Ron, it's Jon from FB. What type of PTC converter do you have? Multi-disk? I have a PTC single disk that I was going to send in to be loosened slightly. Figured I would upgrade it while it's there.
