another cam question

Default another cam question

I'll be running an forged iron 347 with 225 prc heads, ls6 intake and twin turbos with a stalled 4l80. So i have this cam a guy gave me and wondering if its worth using for this setup. specs in pic below.

I'm no expert, but that cam should work well for your application, in my opinion. I think a 230/234 is a little on the large size for a 5.7L, but it should really sing up top. And your heads could actually benefit from a touch more peak valve lift, but you may run into ptv clearance issues if you step up to 1.8 rockers. But overall, if you already have the cam, then it's worth trying.

Those are XE-R lobes. Very Very aggressive ramp rates.... Too aggressive for a turbo motor IMO.

if it already in the motor and in the car, I wouldn't take it out.
but you're going to the work of installing it, i'm go with something more turbo friendly.
