Whats the highest dyno number you have seen from a S475? No I'm not looking to break any records and know dyno numbers are just a tool. In conversation with folks I'm seeing that most S475's are tapped between 700-750whp range through autos. I want to say the most I have seen is 800whp through a 6speed. Has anyone seen more?

I have a 5.3 customer that made 842 with one.... with a kick *** air to water intercooler setup....

once you get to that point... that wheel just makes hot air anyway.

I've been wondering this also. There's this lsx c10 with a 475 that keeps claiming 1000whp but has yet to prove it.

Default S475

I made 797whp with a 475 through a glide. That was at 17psi with an a/a.

I don't think a billet wheel and race cover on a 475 could make those numbers.

What S475? The larger 1.32 T6 96mm wheel on a 4.8 would have the most potential. Unfortunately we don’t see many people using the 4.8’s. On my 5.3 I’d pick a solid 1+mph up to 23lbs. And about a half mph at 24-26lbs with the small 1.10 T4 s475 (small 83mm wheel version) Looking at stock48’s weight and trap he was over 850whp with his 6.0/auto setups in the truck and nova. Both had the small box stock S475’s on them at one point.

I have an 03 6.0 block that we put gen 4 pistons and rods in. Mine is a box stock t6 1.32 ar.
I've only made three passes on the car so far. We've been a best of 9.71@131 shutting off a bit early. No license or certified cage. This was on 15psi max leaving off the footbrake with zero boost. Best 60' was a 1.561. This is in an 88 Cutlass weighing around 3500.

the cast 75mm wheel just doesn't move the kinda air it takes to make that power.

I went 6.21 @ 114.50 in the 1/8. This was at 3400' corrected altitude and into a decent headwind. Unfortunately our racing is done for the year around here. So we'll see next spring. Doing some chassis updates and get the trans brake hooked up. I think it has at least 5.8's in it on a decent day and decent launch.

Yes Stock48 originally ran the small wheel cast S475. 3400lb nova went 5.7 @ 127. And 8.9 @ 157.5 in the 1/4 first time out.

That comes out to 1030ish crank hp going by weight/trap. That's the most power I've seen anyone squeak out of one. Slips and all are in link below.

No... I don't have a billet 75mm wheel... its a 76mm wheel.... and it will do right at 1200 rear wheel.

How does the one VS racing sells perform, say on a 6.0, right cam, 317 heads? It's $699.

That's the same one I'm using. I'm running ported 317s as well. With good pieces all the way around its capable of putting a car into the real low 9s or high 8s

Mine made 754rwhp through Jakes TH400/Moser 9" and an 03 LQ4 with stock (03) internals on 13psi. Ran the time in my sig on 15psi.

You have a good runner there GMCtrk. Is that a t4, and what's the rest of the combo look like?
